Remember sitting in school and staring at those cheesy inspirational photos? You’re inside a cinderblock building and you’re supposed to be motivated by a photo of some landscape that has no relevance to your life with some tired slogan.
The kids at the LBI School may have a little extra motivation when the school reopens, 18 months since Superstorm Sandy. Thanks to a cool collaboration project, several of Ann’s local LBI photos were enlarged into banners for the school with design by Michele Wright Guerriero and printed by our friends at Typestries in Manahawkin. These are all local images that the kids will likely relate to much better than some random mountain or desert rock.
“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone….”
There are probably some adults who could use that tidbit.
