Tres Generations Baja Sur

There are few things more exciting than a sea lion pup playing with your kid underwater.

Coen/Todd family trip to Baja for Mick and Sandy’s anniversary. They instilled in us a sense of adventure and we got to all spend a week together on Bahia La Paz, cliff jumping, finding little waves on the Pacific, exploring pristine beaches, watching Uncle Brian hunting in his underwater element, eating 100 tacos…oh and diving with 30-foot Whale Sharks.

Tara and Ryan Todd have incredible and fearless children, excited for everything in the ocean and cultures. Thank you to Baja Adventure Co and all the people of Mexico who have preserved this rich ecosystem and always remind us how much we have in common. I live on Long Beach Island, in the great state of New Jersey.… like, year round. Winters can be a little rough, long stretches of frozen desolation. But then there are those surreal days of soft snowfall and empty waves. Summers are crazy hectic. As the Island swells to capacity we all have to put our heads down to make coin, but our friends are all around, the island is green and the water’s blue. Of course, in between those are the blissful days when the garden is exploding and someone drops off fresh striped bass, chasing snowy barrels in the winter or blue claw crabs with my kid in the summer.
